A B O U T

Bryan did his first drawing in this style in 1980 while working as an assistant designer for mentor and internationally famous artist Mac Magleby. Shortly thereafter, Peterson opened his own studio, Peterson Ray & Company, in Dallas in 1984. Off and on throughout his career in design he was able to incorporate this style of illustration into his work.

Thirty-six years later in 2020 he decided to begin transitioning out of design to work full-time doing his art. Ray Charles (shown below) was one of the first drawings. Since then, his work has been displayed in hotels, bought by collectors and graces the walls of the Texas Songwriters’ Hall of Fame in Austin, TX.

Printed as giclees on thick fine art paper, these prints can now be purchased for personal collections.
